This tour takes us to Marstein Lighthouse, over Øygarden and Herdla, then to Fedje which is an island in the middle of “The North Sea”, often isolated when there are storms.
Fedje also has a big old lighthouse still operating.
After Fedje the tour goes over Austerheim, showing Statoil Mongstad (big oil refinery), and then back towards Bergen through the canals.
Alden is a very spectacular island that have a big mountain rising from the sea.
This route is often a route that can be flown when the other routes are not possible because of the weather.
